MOSAID Reminds Shareholders of the Upcoming Annual and Special Meeting

(TSX: MSD) reminds shareholders of its scheduled annual and special meeting to be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern time), at the Brookstreet Hotel, Shakers Room, 2nd Floor, located at 525 Legget Drive, Ottawa, Ontario.
Your vote is important. It is even more important at this time in light of Wi-LAN's clearly inadequate and highly opportunistic offer to acquire shares of MOSAID.
One item for business at the meeting is a reconfirmation of MOSAID's shareholder rights plan. This reconfirmation is necessary for the rights plan to remain effective. The rights plan was last approved by more than 97% of the votes cast by shareholders at the 2008 shareholder meeting. MOSAID is pleased to announce that both ISS Proxy Advisory Services and Glass Lewis & Co. have recommended that their respective clients vote "FOR" reconfirmation of MOSAID's shareholder rights plan.
