Freemium iOS and Web-Based SaaS Lets Mobile Professionals Organize and Manage Their Relationships

Users can consolidate, manage and interact with connections across all major personal, social and professional networks. The fresh approach to networking will be unveiled at DEMO Fall 2011, a three-day conference and expo celebrating the hottest new product releases of the year. 5Degrees is the recipient of a scholarship sponsored by Alcatel-Lucent to launch their business at DEMO. The core 5Degrees product will be available for free. Power users and multi-seat users pricing will start at $9.99 per month. 5Degrees will open to selected beta users in October.

A mobile professional's must-have app, 5Degrees replaces the phone's "dumb" contact list with a smart, automated system that lets you manage all of your relationships directly from the mobile or web app. 5Degrees helps you stay current with your contacts, making it easy to jot notes, and making sure you never forget to follow through. The company also uses a novel circles/grouping system that allows users to flag contacts with various groups that can be searched and sorted.

The 5Degrees app will be available on the iTunes App Store for a limited time only soon after the product's DEMO Fall 2011 debut -- 5Degrees will email registrants who sign up on the on September 13th and 14th when it becomes available. The app will only be available for 5 hours on each designated day, so be prepared to act fast. An Android and HD iPad version are scheduled for fall release; additional features will also be added in the upcoming weeks.
