() (OTCBB: TKDN), an authority in the business of mixed martial arts, is pleased to announce that world renowned mixed martial arts agent Ken Pavia, formerly of MMAagents, has been appointed Director of Business Development for subsidiary Takedown Fight Media Inc.
Mr. Pavia is recognized as one of the most successful agents in the MMA industry, representing over 55 elite-level fighters for more than 6 years including multiple world champions and more clients in the UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator than any other agent. Mr. Pavia is a graduate of the University of California and the University of Miami School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He is a regular lecturer at the USC Marshall School of Business, and makes regular appearances as a guest panelist on HDNet's TV program, Inside MMA.
Mr. Pavia has over 20 years of experience as a professional sports agent, having been certified by the players associations of the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB. As a preeminent MMA agent he has amassed innumerable business relationships domestically and internationally, travelling to MMA events around the world more than 40 weeks a year. In 2010 alone, Mr. Pavia booked in excess of 190 mixed martial arts fights in 50 organizations in 16 countries worldwide.
As Director of Business Development for Takedown Fight Media, Mr. Pavia is responsible for creating strategic partnerships with MMA fight promoters, sponsors and suppliers globally.
