Geopulse Notified of Potash Property Ownership and Work Program Rights
(firmenpresse) - ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- (Marketwire) -- 09/13/11 -- Geopulse Exploration Inc. (OTCQB: GPLS) (OTCBB: GPLS) has been informed by the Utah State Trust Lands Office that the Company is now the legal property owner of its Paradox Basin Potash Property. The Company was informed of their successful bid a few weeks ago, but had to await official State Office legal notification before any rights to the property were granted.
This notification was an important hurdle to clear. The legal ownership notification now allows Geopulse the right to begin any analysis or exploration work. The success of this property will be a high priority for Geopulse. The development and expansion of it and any additional potash properties will ensure the Company's future asset base and share value growth.
Over the last decade, the potash industry has experienced rapid growth as a result of rising demands for food, feed and fertilizer. Potash was $200 a ton during the last two years and is expected to reach $1,500 by 2020. The United States produces only about 1,200,000 tones of potash a year, but consumes 5,200,000 tones; making it one of the largest net importers of potash in the world.
