(firmenpresse) - The cosy corner of Selva: Even the in the early 60ies there was a small group of hotels and pensions coming up round the church of Selva . The large and sunny meadow at the entrance of the Natural Park Puez Odle and surrounded by the mountains of Sella and Sassolungo was a good place for building some nice and comfortable hotels and pensions. Together they promoted for the winter and summer tourism. With enthusiasm action and a lot of self-confidence the natives made increase the fame of Selva and at the same time of this small fine quarter. Today there are modern and country styled hotels pensions and residences built at this former meadow.
But what’s the curious thing? The peaceful and cheerful neighbours sometimes met for a glass of wine and for long time discussed about some new ideas. They joined together with the motto “tourism needs innovation” and in summer 2005 a new name came up, “the cosy corner of Selva”. The start was a ceremonial banquet “4 stars menu under the stars” from the Hotel Acadia Beauty & Relax to the church (330 meters) with more than 500 invited persons. The noble name is right for the guest’s holiday spending at a really fine and high-quality area. The location is at the centre of Selva but nevertheless aside from the main road and with a beautiful view at the surrounding mountains. In winter there are the ascent installations and the connection with the Sella Ronda in the immediate nearness and in summer we are a starting point for endless excursions into the world famous Dolomites. The culinary is worth mentioning with its tasty dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. There is also no place for boring in "The cosy corner of Selva" because of the well organized event programs for the guests.
