The track here lies at an altitude of approximately 2000m – perfect for guaranteed snow cover. Here you’ll find the Champagny track, which is the longest and most demanding trail in La Plagne. The trail runs all the way around the mountain, offering the most magnificent views. Exhausted after your outing, you’ll be just a stone’s throw away from your relaxing La Plagne Chalet where you can sit back, relax, and remember the day’s fun.
The Gentle Route: Montalbert & Plagne Soleil
Those looking for something of an altogether more relaxed pace should look no further than the trails around Montalbert and Plagne Soleil. These routes are equally beautiful but a little bit gentler. The trails in Montalbert, specifically, are smaller circuits designed for beginner cross country skiers.
If you’re just looking for a gentle ski, or you’d like to get some practice in before hitting the harder trails, then Montalbert is perfect. Shorter routes can be found in the downhill ski area of Plagne Soleil, offering equally easy trails – perfect for a relaxing morning in the snow.
