Greenway Design Group Announces Cool-n-Save Is Now in Costa Rica

Cool-n-Save is an award-winning and patented energy conservation innovation that uses evaporation to pre-cool air and reduces HVAC energy consumption by as much as 30%. Greenway anticipates that Cool-n-Save could help the bank reduce HVAC energy consumption at this location by 26%.

Banco Nacional, based in San Jose, Costa Rica, is one of the largest banks in Central America and provides a wide range of consumer and business financial services. The bank recently reported nearly $6 billion (USD) in assets. Founded in 1914, the bank operates 164 offices and 37 drive-through banks in Costa Rica.
"Other businesses in the region are also interested in this installation. Keep in mind that Costa Rica is a pioneer in renewable energy sources," comments Lefrancois. "The entire region is looking to energy conservation as an important strategy to keep costs down and that's something that Cool-n-Save has done for other companies," he says.
The company has been developing evaporative pre-cool misting technology for commercial and residential air conditioning since 2005.
