Business Returns to the Showfloor
(PresseBox) - The 2nd edition of ANDTEX, Southeast Asia’s Premier Nonwovens and Hygiene Technology Exhibition & Conference will take place from March 1-3, 2023 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) in Thailand. ANDTEX is organized in association with the Thai Nonwoven Fabrics Industry Trade Association (TNFA) and has official support from the Thai Ministry of Industry and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau.
The Southeast Asia market offers tremendous potential with its growing need for nonwovens and engineered fabrics. The high demand in the region is driven by favorable demographics, economic conditions, increasing market penetration and vibrant local and export market demand. According to the Nonwovens Industry Magazine the global retail disposable hygiene market was valued at $112 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach $129 billion by 2026. Asia Pacific contributes more than 40% to the global retail sales.
Promissing news that with the decline of the COVID-19 infection rate in Thailand and the reopening of countries around the world, the Thai government has issued regulations to ease disease control measures to promote business activities which will be effective from 1 June 2022 onwards.
ANDTEX will showcase the entire industry value chain including engineered materials, disposable and durable hygiene products, equipment, and the latest manufacturing technologies. Related industries include hygiene, filtration, packaging, automotive, fabrics & apparels, medical, wiping, agriculture and furnishings. ANDTEX showfloor will be the meeting point for nonwoven machinery and equipment providers, suppliers, researchers, vendors, and all other major players involved in the industry.
ANDTEX conference will highlight global and regional insights from leading industry experts on the future of nonwoven and engineered materials supply, production capacity and demand.
Many exhibitors already saved their space and wait to be back on the showfloor to continue business, such as WEKO, the German specialist for non-contact fluid application systems.
