IC Places Enters Beta Testing on "Instant Restaurant Review" iPhone App

The call for beta testers went out to users of the icPlaces.com website asking them to participate in what is slated to be a revolutionary app designed to engage users in a totally new way.
Jeff Thompson, chief operating strategist of IC Places, Inc., and newly responsible for technology development on IC Places products, said, "The user experience on all of our technology properties is extremely important to everyone at the company, and my goal at IC Places is continuous improvement. We want users to have a blast when they use our websites, and now the new 'Instant Restaurant Review' app. Our goal is to create a first generation app that engages the consumer in the entertainment creation process and makes them the star. The name "Instant Restaurant Review" says exactly what the app will do; it provides consumers with the ability to instantly share their experience with the world. One very powerful feature included in the app is proximity based controls that will only allow a person to submit a review if they are within 100 feet of the restaurant, thereby all-but eliminating phony reviews from non-patrons. The app will debut on the iPhone and then will be made available on the Android platform.
