German CRO SocraTec R&D obtains approval from French government: Credit Impôt Recherche” (CIR - CII)
(firmenpresse) - Socratec R&D, a German full-service CRO with strong expertise in early phase clinical trials, receives CIR accreditation as a research institute recognised by the French government. This corporate tax relief measure, granted for the development of research and business innovation, allows French companies to declare innovative research costs and obtain a significant reduction on their tax bill.
“We are very pleased to have successfully completed the accreditation process and will thus be able to offer real added value to our French clients – the French market is of utmost importance for us” says Managing Director Dr. Barbara Schug.
SocraTec R&D’s own modern Phase I unit is located directly in the maximum-care hospital of Erfurt, which allows conducting clinical trials with healthy volunteers and patients alike, and therefore is highly attractive for start-up companies entering the early phase of their drug development.
The accreditation now achieved for a three-year period, until 2024, gives SocraTec R&D’s French customers the opportunity to use the CRO’s proven competence and recognised quality in early clinical phases with financial support from the French state so they can benefit from SocraTec R&D’s comprehensive expertise in design development and realisation of clinical research projects.
SocraTec R&D’s expertise and experience in Scientific Advice Procedures with the European and American authorities, their clinical pharmacology background in the development of clinical development plans and experience in later phases of clinical trials, are the optimal basis for a long-term, trusting collaboration between the CRO and their French clients.
