Focus Gold Corp Recruits World-Class Porphyry Expert as Project Manager in Nayarit, Mexico
(firmenpresse) - RENO, NV -- (Marketwire) -- 09/15/11 -- Focus Gold Corporation (OTCBB: FGLD) announces that David P. Cadwell has accepted the position of Project Manager for the company's Huicicila porphyry gold-copper project in Nayarit State, Mexico. Mr. Cadwell has over 40 years of international experience in minerals exploration and development, much of it exploring and developing porphyry copper and gold deposits. He has worked around the world, including extensive experience throughout Latin America. Mr. Cadwell has held senior positions with Asarco, Gold Fields, Anaconda and other mining companies and has held management positions at several world-class porphyry copper and gold projects including Michiquillay (Peru), Zaldivar (Chile), Pelambres (Chile), Caridad (Mexico) and Sar Chesmeh (Iran).
As project Manager at the Company's Huicicila gold project, Mr. Cadwell will be responsible for all aspects of exploration and development on the project. Work on the project to date has identified a large prospective porphyry gold-copper system and the Company is working aggressively to define targets for testing during an initial drill program to begin this autumn.
