Leisureworld Added to S&P/TSX SmallCap Index
(firmenpresse) - MARKHAM, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/16/11 -- Leisureworld Senior Care Corporation (TSX: LW) today announced it will be included in the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index, effective after the close of trading on Friday, September 16, 2011.
"We are pleased with our inclusion in the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index, it will help to further elevate our capital market profile," said David Cutler, Chief Executive Officer of Leisureworld.
The S&P/TSX SmallCap Index provides investors with a portfolio index of the small cap market segment of the Canadian equity market, serving a dual purpose both as a benchmark as well as an investable index. Inclusion in the index is based on active trading volumes and a float adjusted market capitalization of between $100 million and $1.5 billion, among other eligibility criteria.
