Schneeberger presents its unique product family
(PresseBox) - Schneeberger will be exhibiting one of the most innovative product families for medical technology and laboratory automation at IFAS in Zurich from October 25 - 27, 2022 . The "Scale" products meet customer requirements for miniaturization and maximum precision for high-tech devices by integrating the path length measuring system into the linear bearings. The miniature guideways can therefore be installed in the smallest possible space and offer high rigidity combined with the best performance. The "Scale" product family is perfect for any kind of med-tech application and is used in laboratory automation, diagnostics and ophthalmology, for example.
In high-tech industries such as medical laboratory equipment, optoelectronic devices, electronics and metrology, nothing is as important as process reliability and the highest possible quality coupled with optimum cost-effectiveness. Schneeberger’s "Scale" products precisely meet this need. The complex metrology, including an optical sensor, is integrated into the carriage, and the measuring scale is attached directly to the linear rail. As a result, the entire system requires minimal space in the unit.
The compact design with an integrated sensor in the rail ensures high running smoothness and a consistent and perfectly precise and reliable process. A further advantage for the customer is the low design cost, as there is no need to install and calibrate a separate distance measuring system. The "Scale" products are delivered ready to install for a quick and easy installation. These characteristics make the integrated optical path length measuring system a suitable partner in medical technology and bioengineering.
