HeiQ takes synbiotic animal hygiene and care to EuroTier 2022
HeiQ showcases its tested and proven synbiotic technology for animal farming at EuroTier 2022, from the 15th to the 18th of November, at the Deutsche Messe, in Hannover (Germany), Booth B10, Hall 23.
(PresseBox) - HeiQ’s presence at EuroTier 2022 is fully aligned with this year’s main theme: “Transforming Animal Farming”, by demonstrating how synbiotic animal care and hygiene can limit opportunities for infections and lower the need for antibiotics. Synbiotics are key to future-proof and sustainable animal production in farms.
The HeiQ Synbio range for animal hygiene uses a patented combination of pro- and prebiotics, aiming to limit the chances of infections and decrease the need for antibiotics.
HeiQ provides an alternative to antibiotics
Since the 1950s, medical and veterinary professionals have used antibiotics, disinfectants, and antiseptic products to control harmful bacteria, fungi, and germs on animal farms. Today we know that this practice leads to the development of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), which is harmful not only to animals but to humans as well.
Farms that have been using the HeiQ line of synbiotic products are experiencing remarkable results, namely a more balanced microbiome in animal housing and lower costs thanks to reduced labor requirements and stronger, more productive animals. Synbiotics can be used in water lines, animal housing cleaning, and surface fogging for reduced ammonia levels and smell.
