EDB ErgoGroup signs contract with the Skanem group

(Oslo, 19 September 2011) Skanem AS, one of Europe's largest suppliers of self
adhesive labels, has chosen EDB ErgoGroup to operate its IT platform for the
next three years. "It is very pleasing to report that a Norwegian and
international group has chosen EDB ErgoGroup as its new IT supplier", comments
Thorolf Thorstensen, Head of Global IT Operations.
Skanem has signed a contract with EDB ErgoGroup for the operation of Skanem's IT
platform. Under the terms of the contract, EDB ErgoGroup will provide operating
services for:
- ASP solution for 420 users
- Operation of applications and servers
- Rental of hardware and software related to the operations platform
- Data storage and backup solutions
- 24/7 service desk
- Location-specific solutions at certain of Skanem's international locations
In addition, Skanem has signed a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement through EDB
ErgoGroup, which will give the group's employees access to the necessary
standard office applications.
The operating services agreement runs for three years, and represents total
contract value of NOK 11.5 million before taking into account any options.

looked for an IT supplier with local roots as well as the expertise and scale
needed to cater for our international growth ambitions. The combination of EDB
ErgoGroup's regional delivery apparatus, its methodology and its experience of
