Want to help out Black vendors and show support for your Greek sorority or fraternity at the same time? The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Southeastern Pennsylvania (NPHC-SEPA) has a new e-commerce platform where you can do just that.

(firmenpresse) - Looking for a one-stop online shop for Divine 9 swag? The NPHC-SEPA marketplace provides a space where you can proudly represent your Black Greek sorority or fraternity. It’s also a place where you can support Black-owned small businesses as they navigate the challenges of the post-pandemic economic landscape. The online marketing platform is specially created to help local African-American Greek vendors navigate the challenging post-pandemic economy. When you visit and shop on the platform, you'll be helping local vendors restore their profit margins and offset rising vending costs, like licensing fees, air travel expenses, inventory costs, dock fees, and storage fees. Get more details at https://nphcsepamarketplace.org Council members created the NPHC-SEPA marketplace to give Greek vendors a strategic online position that would connect them with people like you - a target audience of millions. Now vendors can access the platform and leverage this positioning for a monthly fee that is less than the cost of a movie ticket. That's a great advantage for a great price, given the economic hardships American small businesses have been facing post-pandemic. Between January 2020 and May 2021, as much as 34 percent of small businesses closed due to the pandemic. However, at the same time, the number of applications for business Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) dramatically increased, showing the American entrepreneurial spirit was still alive and well. In this spirit, the NPHC-SEPA marketplace serves as a national online shopping platform exclusive to NPHC-SEPA members and their licensed local Greek vendors. The marketplace is an opportunity for these vendors to increase their sales nationwide, offset their rising expenses, and restore their profit margins. Vendors can join the marketplace if they are licensed by the nine Greek organizations they represent. Upon approval, licensed "Divine 9" (or D9) vendor members will be able to enjoy greater potential for business success. The NPHC was founded in 1930 to unite African-American Greek organizations and foster collaboration in pursuing their mutual interests. In southeastern Pennsylvania, the Council has nine chapters known as the Divine 9, serving Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. The goal of the D9 is to empower Black-owned small businesses and preserve the socioeconomic well-being of the communities they serve. Council President Tiana Phillips says, “We’re creating a Greek version of that mega dot com that begins with an ‘A.’ D9 vendors are not only the ticket for all of the NPHC’s fundraising efforts - these vendors are the ticket and the show.” The NPHC-SEPA marketplace is just the right place to connect with other Council members and support Greek sororities and fraternities. After all, we’re all in this together, so why not find innovative ways to get together? That’s what the NPHC-SEPA marketplace is all about.
