Ecofoil is an interesting new range of digital metalized foil board substrate that makes high end luxury print and packaging more affordable and more sustainable than before, a competitive and sustainable alternative to traditional metalized polyester foil boards (MetPol) and metalized applications. It offers all creative benefits of metalized polyester boards with the USPs of being certified plastic free and 100% recyclable.
Ecofoil is a true foil-board substrate rather than a selective foil embellishment that has been specifically developed and certified for Dry Toner and HP Indigo printers, removing the limitations in the amount, size, complexity, or number of foil colours that can now be created in a single pass.
Ecofoil is 100% recyclable, FSC certified, significantly more scratch resistant than all its competitors and compatible with all post-press processes like folding, bookbinding, embossing, debossing, foiling, UV varnishing and laminating.
Ecofoil allows customers to create foil embellishment in-line using their existing digital press and without the need for any additional capex investment.
