East Bay's "Best Uphill Bike Race" on October 2 to Benefit Save Mount Diablo's Land Preservation Efforts

On Sunday, October 2, Taleo will sponsor the 30th Mount Diablo Challenge, an 11.2 mile timed bike ride starting at Athenian School in Danville and climbing up Southgate Road 3,249 feet to the summit of Mount Diablo. Approximately 1,000 cycling enthusiasts will compete and prizes will be awarded for several categories in a ceremony at the summit.
All cycling enthusiasts and media are invited to attend and participate in the event. Michael Gregoire, Taleo CEO and avid cyclist, will also be in attendance.
Save Mount Diablo works to preserve, defend and restore the land on and around Mount Diablo to ensure healthy ecosystems and continued access for people and wildlife to enjoy. Mount Diablo and its foothills are the most significant natural landscape in the region. The Mount Diablo Challenge is an effort to increase awareness of the preservation of Mount Diablo and all proceeds will benefit Save Mount Diablo's land conservation efforts.
