Dolby's State-of-the-Art Surround Sound Voice Chat Technology Brings a Heightened Level of Realism to the Virtual World
(firmenpresse) - SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/22/11 -- enVie Interactive™, LLC, a ground-breaking developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment, announced today that they have incorporated Dolby Axon voice chat technology in its new virtual world, VIE: Virtual Island of Entertainment. By integrating Dolby Axon into the world, guests will be able to converse naturally, utilizing voice chat that fits seamlessly within their experience. VIE is the first virtual world to use the Dolby Axon surround sound voice chat technology.

Dolby Axon technology is fully integrated and will be seamless to guests in the virtual world. With automatic setup, the feature is easy to use and the only necessary equipment is a headset or speakers and a microphone. Guests will be able to have private channel conversations, group chat or local chat when they are near others, such as in a casino, bar or on the dance floor.
