SmartStop(TM) Self Storage Launches "Sing It Smart" Video Jingle Contest
$5,000 Grand Prize, Celebrity Judge Panel and Public Voting Period

Entrants will create an original 30-second to one minute video jingle and upload it to the SmartStop Facebook page at .

SmartStop™ Self Storage is a new brand of self storage that combines an intuitive process with leveraged technology to help make the storage experience simple, quick, affordable and smart. Just three years after launching its acquisition efforts, SSTI now has more than 78 properties in 17 states and Canada, and was recently named one of the top 10 self-storage operators in the United States.
The creator(s) of the jingle that wins the Grand Prize will receive $5,000 total and the two runners up will receive an Apple® iPad® 2 or $500 cash, their choice. Videos must be submitted between midnight on Sept. 21, 2011 and 11:59 PM on Nov. 1, 2011.
Entries will be judged on brand reflection, originality, creativity of presentation, song quality, suitability of video for future advertising and promotion purposes, and entertainment value. The jingle should reflect the SmartStop brand -- personal, innovative, responsible -- and incorporate the tagline, "The smarter way to store!™"
The finalists for the contest will be posted on Facebook at for a public vote from November 4 - 17. The winners will be announced on or about November 21.
A panel of celebrity judges includes professional cyclist , professional mixed martial arts fighter , and (a rescued dog and overnight Facebook sensation!).
