FLSmidth wins cement order in Libya
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Company Announcement to the Danish Financial Supervisory AuthorityNo. 18-2009, 14 October 2009FLSmidth has signed a contract worth approximately 130m euros (DKK970m) with the Libyan company Al Hadena National Company to supplyequipment and design of buildings and structures for a cement plantwith a capacity of 4,600 tonnes per day. The plant will be locatedclose to the town of Nalout some 280 kilometres southwest of Libya'scapital Tripoli. The plant will be the first cement plant project forthe newly established Al Hadena National Company.The contract comprises supplies of an EV crusher, an LHO stackerreclaimer, an ATOX raw mill, a complete pyro line with SF Cross-barcooler, two UMS cement mills, four CFS cement silos and a completepacking plant.
