SL Laser at JEC World 2024 and Holz-Handwerk 2024
(PresseBox) - With its laser projectors and laser measuring systems, SL Laser has been a familiar sight at the relevant trade fairs for production in a wide range of industries for many years. From March 5 - 7, 2024, you can also meet us at JEC World, the international exhibition for composite materials in Paris (Hall: 6 Stand: 6B97). Holz-Handwerk, the most important trade fair for the woodworking industry, will take place in Nuremberg from March 19 - 22, 2024. We will be exhibiting here in Hall 9, Stand 9-420.
The ProDirector 7 and the ProCollector measuring system
We will be demonstrating the performance and ease of use of the ProDirector 7, which guides many production processes with its laser beam and eliminates the need for expensive templates. The ProDirector can be installed as a stand-alone projector under the ceiling of your production hall, move around on a rail system or, if necessary, work in combination with several devices. In addition to other applications, we also present the ProCollector laser measurement system, which serves as a point projector and creates a precise measurement for 2D and 3D projects. The data generated can then be further processed in the CAD system.
The use of laser projection is extremely simple
After brief training by our experts, both devices can be used by the staff themselves with little effort. Both systems bring clearly measurable benefits in terms of time and precision in production. Your employees are supported by specially developed software that simplifies and accelerates typical industry processes. At these two upcoming trade fairs, we will be paying particular attention to the preparation of laser projection, projection for 2D applications and the projection of 3D data. We will be presenting the relevant programs and the latest innovations in easy-to-follow presentations.
How do you use our software for laser projection?
The first step is to get an insight into the SL-Assembly software, with which you first divide the existing CAD drawings into individual layers. This is then used to generate the projection files that control the ProDirector 7 when projecting the laser beams. We will also show you the Laserpilot program. This can be used in the concrete industry, for example, to calculate the projection lines for the two-dimensional representation and display them using the laser projector. In a further presentation, we will show you how to use the SL-3D software. This program imports the data from all common CAD systems, converts it and guides the laser projector through the projection of the individual layers. When using several projectors, it automatically selects the best one for the projection. The precision of the display is optimized by calculating the required projection points.
