The RAILTEC B DIN rail enclosure– even more versatile thanks to new design
(PresseBox) - The RAILTEC B enclosure family is ideal for simple and quick snap-in mounting on DIN rails in accordance with EN 60715 TH35 and/or for direct wall mounting (with appropriate accessories). The top parts are made of high-quality, flame-retardant PC plastic (UL 94 V-0) in light grey (RAL 7035), and the bottom parts are made of PPO (UL 94 V-0) in black. The enclosures are fully insulated and safe to touch in accordance with VBG 4 and IEC 529/DIN VDE 0470-1.
The product group now offers even more options for use as electronics enclosures thanks to a new, flat design with a closed top part and four module widths (2, 4, 6 and 9). The new variant has dimensions (WxHxD) of 35 x 89.6 x 31.25 mm (2 modules), 4 modules with 70 mm / 6 modules with 105 mm width and 157.5 mm for the 9-module variant.
The flat design allows particularly effective utilisation of the available space. The closed top part also allows the integration of a generously dimensioned control panel with displays, operating elements and interfaces. In addition, there are extensive customisation options: this means that the enclosures can be customised in the in-house service centre according to requirements or device setup. The options here range from mechanical processing in the form, for example, of openings for interfaces, display cut-outs or cable inlets/outlets, through painting, printing and laser marking to the application of decor foils as well as packaging and assembly.
The RAILTEC B can be used universally thanks to its wide range of variants and flexible customisability. The range of applications extends from automation, building and safety technology, heating and air conditioning to communication and versatile solutions in measuring technology.
