Open Letter to Stantec Inc. Calls for Review of Strategic Planning Contracts
(firmenpresse) - VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/28/11 -- Today, David Bratzer released an open letter calling for Stantec's President & CEO to launch a review of the firm's education-related strategic planning contracts.
The letter follows a powerful piece of investigative journalism published in the October edition of Focus Magazine. The article in Focus raises concerns about a "Strategic Facilities Plan" completed by Stantec through a contract with the Greater Victoria School District. Several other school districts across Canada appear to be affected as well.
"Stantec has an excellent reputation and so I am confident they will find a way to address these concerns," stated David Bratzer.
