Atlas extends its innovative WXView II™ data acquisition system to SUNTEST® and XENOTEST® weathering testing instruments
(PresseBox) - Atlas, the global leader in weathering testing technology, has announced the release of web-based WXView II R2 data acquisition software. Previously limited to its flagship Weather-Ometers® series – WXView II R2 connectivity has expanded to four additional weathering testing instruments:
The SUNTEST XLS+ and XXL+ full-spectrum xenon-arc flatbed instruments for 3D specimens
The XENOTEST 220+ and 440 compact, rotating-rack, xenon-arc weathering and lightfastness testers
The benchmark for accelerated weathering, lightfastness, and solar simulation testing by OEMs and R&D labs worldwide, Atlas instruments can accurately simulate months – even years – of exposure to sunlight, temperature and moisture in just days or weeks.
WXView II R2 enables users to easily monitor test parameter, control system and other data outputs in real time. Previously limited to instruments connected to local area networks, the upgraded WXView II R2 allows multi-site monitoring, which is particularly useful for companies that have labs and/or contract manufacturers in multiple locations.

Running on Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022, WXView II R2 allows users to review and analyze data in graphical formats. Additionally, data files from archived tests can be viewed, downloaded and imported into other applications for more detailed analysis and report generation. Instrument status and information on alarms, maintenance and instrument configuration can also be displayed. One-way encryption ensures user data is safe and secure.
