Special 25th Anniversary Presentation of The Phantom of the Opera at Participating Theatres Across Canada
Original and Current Cast Members to Perform in This Exclusive Event
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 09/29/11 -- Cineplex Entertainment (TSX: CGX), via our Front Row Centre Events, and Omniverse Vision today announced a special 25th anniversary presentation of The Phantom of the Opera can be enjoyed at participating movie theatres across Canada. This special presentation will be available in high-definition with digital surround sound on Monday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. local time and Saturday, October 22nd at 1:00 p.m. local time. The Phantom of the Opera will be recorded live from London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, October 2nd.

The Phantom of the Opera will be recorded at Royal Albert Hall will star Iranian-born Canadian Ramin Karimloo as 'The Phantom' and Sierra Boggess as 'Christine.' Joining the renowned performers will be Barry James as 'Monsieur Firmin,' Gareth Snook as 'Monsieur Andre,' Liz Robertson as 'Madame Giry' and Wynne Evans as 'Piangi.' The production will feature a cast and orchestra of more than 200 and will also include special guest appearances.
