San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office Upgrades All Officers With 1,500 New TASER X2 ECDs
Agency to Deploy AXON On-Officer Cameras
(firmenpresse) - SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 09/29/11 -- (NASDAQ: TASR), a global provider of safety technologies that protect life, today announced the first major county to purchase the new electronic control device (ECD) for San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office for all its patrol officers.
TASER received the order from ProForce Law Enforcement, a long-time TASER ECD law enforcement distributor for the Western United States. ProForce supports Law Enforcement with stores in Prescott, AZ and Brea, CA along with sales representatives travelling the entire Western United States along with Alaska. The order provided 1,500 ECDs with extended warranties and 9,000 to the . The order also includes 20 TASER on-officer cameras and service.

We decided to upgrade our entire fleet of electronic control devices primarily to take advantage of new safety advances in the TASER X2."
