Triangle Peak Partners and Hearst Lead the New Investment

(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 09/29/11 -- Yieldex, the leading provider of inventory and revenue management solutions for digital publishers, today announced it had raised $10 million in its third round of venture capital funding. Triangle Peak Partners and Hearst Interactive Media led the round.

Existing Yieldex venture capital investors Sequel Venture Partners, Madrona Venture Group, and FFP Holdings also participated in the round, as did previous investor Amazon.com, Inc.

"With this new funding, we enter an exciting new phase for our company," said Yieldex CEO Andy Nibley. "We have the opportunity now to accelerate development of new and existing products, rapidly expand our sales capabilities and begin to take advantage of the growing global demand for our inventory and pricing solutions."

Yieldex helps premium digital publishers dramatically increase their revenue by providing hyper-accurate inventory analysis, forecasting and pricing.

Yieldex, which has a blue-chip client base of digital publishers in the United States and abroad, raised $12 million in its Series A and B Rounds.

"We are excited to be involved with Yieldex," said Dain DeGroff, President and Co-Founding Partner at Triangle Peak Partners. "Its differentiated product offering helps an impressive list of publishers increase display advertising revenues and yields. In addition, there is a clear opportunity to migrate Yieldex's technology to other channels such as video and mobile."

"Yieldex solves a major problem for premium digital publishers," said Ken Bronfin, President, Hearst Interactive Media. "In a world with dramatically increasing data volumes, complex targeting and extensive ad flight customizations, digital publishers need the sophisticated tools that Yieldex offers to maintain a thorough understanding of their advertising inventory. This deeper understanding is likely to lead to increased revenue and profitability for publishers' businesses."

Industry veterans from Matchlogic and NetGravity founded Yieldex to address interactive publishers' growing need for tools to manage inventory, pricing, and ultimately their total revenue. Today, Yieldex's Advertising Revenue Manager suite is helping digital publishers dramatically increase their revenue by better forecasting, managing and pricing their premium inventory.
