For AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik GmbH, LogiMAT is a fixed date in the diary, as the company regularly exhibits its wide range of products and innovations in Stuttgart. This year, there will be even more movement at the AMI stand (Hall 1, Stand C03), as Stefan Brenner (CEO) promises: “We have completely modified our conveyor line, which was specially designed for the trade fair, and are now showing even more processes of modern intralogistics”. To this end, the HIGH-SPEED DEPOT was also integrated into the system using a lift. The HIGH-SPEED DEPOT is a compact modular system for picking folding cartons and other rectangular containers in a wide variety of sizes. It can theoretically be built to infinite lengths and integrated into existing systems with a perfect fit. With the HIGH-SPEED DEPOT, complex orders can be processed very quickly and the highest possible efficiency can be maintained even at peak loads. “This solution is ideal for industries with a high order volume and where the individual orders consist of many small, cuboid items that need to be picked quickly,” says Brenner, explaining the co-picking system. “Of course, we will also have the premium order picking machine, the SMART-FLEXDEPOT, with us and will be demonstrating the concept and function of what is currently the fastest machine on the market in live operation,” says the Managing Director, looking forward to the upcoming trade fair, adding that the machine has long since proven its worth in industrial, service and retail applications. AMI's customers now include various sectors such as various highly specialized online mail order companies. The SMART-FLEXDEPOT will therefore be well stocked at the trade fair so that it can impressively demonstrate its advantages to the many trade fair visitors.
