(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Managing Director and Group CEO Hans Ljungkvist has informed that he,after almost nine years, wishes to leave his position at the latestin connection with the Annual General Meeting in April 2010. TheBoard of Geveko will start the recruitment of his successor.The Geveko group has undergone considerable changes during the lastyears. Priority has been given to the development and growth of theindustrial operations with focus on horizontal road marking and aleading position in Europe. Simultaneously the Equities Portfolio hasbeen divested and Geveko has changed the nature of business from thatof investment trust to an operating industrial group. Geveko is todaymarket leader within horizontal roadmarking in the Nordic countriesas well as on the fast growing markets in Central and Eastern Europe."The change by year end 2007/2008 of tax status from that ofinvestment trust to industrial enterprise involved considerablechange of the company's conditions. The concentration of the businesstowards road marking is almost accomplished, new businesses have beenintegrated and an organisation with focus on the business and themarkets has been implemented.
