Aker Solutions to supply equipment for Noble drillships
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - 21 October 2009 - Aker Solutions has been selected to provide acomprehensive package of drilling equipment, including derrick andpipe-handling components, for use in upgrades planned for NobleCorporation's three Brazil-based drillships. The contract value isapproximately NOK 82 million.The components are expected to be delivered and installed as part ofpreviously announced reliability upgrades of the vessels Noble LeoSegerius, the Noble Roger Eason and the Noble Murvalenko.
