(PresseBox) - The Klocke Group, a leading contract manufacturer in the pharmaceutical sector, has fully equipped its packaging lines with Track & Trace (TQS) solutions from Wipotec, boosting efficiency and ensuring full compliance with global serialization standards.
Klocke’s operations cover pharmaceuticals, veterinary products, cosmetics, and technical items—each with specific marking and regulatory needs. The early adoption of Wipotec’s compact and user-friendly systems has enabled fast, reliable format changeovers and smooth adaptation to evolving requirements like UDI labeling.
“We responded quickly to new regulations and chose future-proof systems. That gave us a clear advantage,” said Dominik Katarzynski, Managing Director at the Weingarten site. “Compared to other solutions, TQS delivers up to 40% time savings during article changes.”
Operating 20 high-capacity packaging lines, Klocke produces up to 500 million blister packs annually. Full system redundancy and plug-and-play setup allow for seamless integration and minimal downtime. “We were serialization-ready in just 30 minutes,” Katarzynski noted.
Strong service support and rapid customization—like customer-specific data matrix coding—further cement Wipotec as a long-term technology partner. With rising demand, Klocke is adding new lines and continuing to rely on TQS for future growth.
