Retransmission: Stockpools Announces Commercial Launch & Fundraiser for Canuck Place
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/04/11 -- () is extremely pleased to announce the commercial launch of its new online stock pool game. Each week, awards $1,000 to the top-performing player, with $25,000 to be awarded to the individual that picks the week's "perfect portfolio." Users select a stock in 10 different resource categories, or have the option to randomize stock selection. The game is free to play and open to all North American residents over the age of majority, regardless of previous investment experience.
During the month of October, will donate $1 for each new sign up with full proceeds going to . Canuck Place Children's Hospice provides specialized pediatric palliative care for terminally ill children. The Centre encourages each child to 'embrace life' and believes in enhancing the quality of whatever time these children have remaining by empowering them to live fully and joyfully. Currently, Canuck Place serves over 400 British Columbian children and families, yet their budget only allows for in-hospice care of up to nine children and four families. Stockpools hopes to aid in Canuck Place's funding so they can continue to extend their reach to the many children in need.
