NEW! Clara™ Growth Plate from Porvair Sciences

(PresseBox) - Dunn Labortechnik presents the new Clara™ Growth Plate from Porvair Sciences to enhance and optimize cell culture workflows. Possible applications include drug research, antibody and hybridoma production, or plasmid extraction from bacteria.

The Clara™ Plate has 6 wells and combines the advantages of a standard T-cell flask and microtiter plates by supporting cells with 50 ml well volume, at the same time offering a standard SLAS/ANSI format for automation purposes. The round wells and supporting rims between these prevent build-up of shear stress while shaking. These unique features allow you to grow your cells and do downstream assays using liquid handlers, readers or other equipment with the same plate.

In addition, the Clara™ plate can be equipped with filter inserts in the bottom of the wells enabling users to grow cells, lyse these and then filtrate with positive pressure such as with manifolds. These and suitable collection plates are also available from Porvair Sciences.
