AZAV certification confirms high training standards at the R.A.C.E. calibration and training centre
(PresseBox) - The R.A.C.E. calibration and trainig centre operated by PMA/TOOLS GmbH is now AZAV-certified. With this initial certification under the “Accreditation and Licensing Regulation for Employment Promotion“ (AZAV) the centre meets the strict quality standards set by Germany’s Federal Employment Agency and Job Centres. This paves the way for government-funded training programmes – particularly for jobseekers looking to gain targeted, hands-on qualifications for the automotive aftermarket.

The increasing demand for such training stems from a legal regulation that limits the calibration of installed driver assistance systems to certified master workshops in the automotive or body and vehicle construction trades. One key part of the training offering is the preparatory course for the § 8 competency examination under the German Trade and Crafts Code (HwO), a qualification required for those working in the vehicle glazing sector.
