(PresseBox) - Our collaboration with ATN Hölzel goes beyond a simple sales agreement — it's a joint innovation project. The aim is to establish laser-based VIN marking as a standardised process on a broader scale in the automotive industry.
Use case: Robot-guided VIN engraving
Interested parties have already experienced a joint demonstration of the fully automated process in FANUC's new showroom (the FANUC CRX-20iA/L Cobot precisely positions the Trotec VIN marker on the car body).
The engraving of a 17-digit VIN takes less than 15 seconds, including data transfer to the MES system.
