With its fourth voluntary sustainability report, the apt Group shares its figures, demonstrating transparency on emissions and progress toward achieving climate neutrality by 2044
(firmenpresse) - Monheim, 23rd September, 2025 – The apt Group, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of aluminium profiles and their further processing, has published its fourth consecutive voluntary sustainability report. For the first time, reporting is no longer based on GRI but on the new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The 2024 report provides insights into the company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics and documents ongoing steps toward the goal of climate neutrality by 2044.
“2024 was a significant year for the apt Group – marked by strategic decisions and operational development. We consistently continued our path toward climate neutrality by the end of 2044,” says Manon Gahmann, Director CSR & Compliance at apt. “As the apt Group, we clearly see our responsibility: we want to be part of the solution – for a resilient, sustainable, and competitive aluminium industry in Europe.”
As in previous years, the apt Group discloses its Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF), measured according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The 2024 sustainability report also consolidates additional key figures and measures, thereby creating transparency for customers, partners, and the public.
