Swinton Commercial Stresses Dangers of Fatigue Behind the Wheel

(firmenpresse) - MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 10/05/11 -- Swinton Commercial, one of the UK's leading brokers is offering advice to van drivers suffering from driver fatigue as a result of late night and early morning Rugby World Cup games.

With some of the games in the 2011 tournament starting from as early as between 1.00am and 9.00am, a lack of sleep is a major safety issue facing van drivers.

It's estimated that driver fatigue accounts for 20 per cent of all road accidents in the UK each year, so van drivers need to be alert at all time when on the road(1).
