Yottaa to Address the High Cost of Slow Websites at Web 2.0 Expo
Web Performance Optimization Provider Selected for Startup Showcase

() announced today that it has been named a finalist for the Web 2.0 Startup Showcase, and that Yottaa CEO Coach Wei and CTO Bob Buffone will address the growing stakes for web performance with two sessions at the Web 2.0 Expo in New York City on October 11 and 12.
Yottaa was selected to compete against 21 other promising young companies at the showcase event, which highlights the startup ecosystem's diversity and creativity. Attendees of the conference will get a chance to hear pitches, see demos and vote on finalists along with venture capitalist judges.
In addition to being featured at the Startup Showcase, Yottaa executives are leading two sessions at the expo. On Tuesday, October 11 at 3:20pm, Wei will present "Web Performance Optimization -- The Secret Sauce for Successful Web Sites." At 2:50pm the following day, Buffone will present "An Expert's Guide to Making Websites Slow -- Anti-Design Patterns."
In both sessions, Yottaa will highlight the growing demand for web performance from the IT and marketing departments' perspective, exploring what organizations can and should do in order to protect conversions and drive traffic. Tuesday's presentation by Wei will focus on the business drivers and impact of web performance, while Buffone's Wednesday session will identify specific ways in which technical and design choices at all stages of development -- from architecture through deployment -- can hinder web performance.
