KeepTool 17 Released– Extended Oracle 23ai Support, PostgreSQL Conversion and Integrated AI Assistant

Major release introduces SQL Domains, Data Mining Models, Schema Annotations and AI-powered SQL assistance.

(PresseBox) - KeepTool announces the release of version 17, a major update delivering significant enhancements for Oracle 23ai, PostgreSQL migration, and AI-assisted development.

KeepTool 17 fully supports Oracle 23ai SQL Domains, including domain metadata management, DML generation via Reverse DB, and schema comparison functionality.

A new Oracle 23ai Data Mining Models page enables visualization and management of model metadata.

Basic support for Schema Annotations allows annotations for tables, views, and columns. They are displayed in overview and column grids alongside traditional comments.

SQL Rewrite capabilities have been significantly expanded:

New “Rewrite SQL” submenu consolidating all conversion tools

SQL conversion for PostgreSQL

SQL conversion for MS SQL Server

Dictionary-based identifier replacement

The new AI Assistant supports OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and Llama using a Bring-Your-Own-API-Key approach. It enables generation, analysis, and modification of SQL and PL/SQL directly within the editor.

PostgreSQL DDL conversion has been extended to support views, PL/SQL objects, sequences, policies, and privileges.

Additional improvements include enhanced data grid functionality, user and proxy management updates, and support for BOOLEAN and extended password lengths in Oracle 23 direct connections.
