ALLWEILER automates its procurement process with ReadSoft solution
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - ReadSoft is to deliver its SAP-certified Purchase to Pay solution toALLWEILER AG, Germany's oldest manufacturer of pumps and completepump systems, to optimize and automate its procurement process. Thesolution will initially cover the processing of 1,000 purchaserequisitions monthly, and will be integrated into its existing SAPsystem.The new ReadSoft web-based solution, PROCESS DIRECTOR, acceleratesthe procurement processes by enabling any authorized employees tocreate, circulate, and approve purchase requests via a secured webconnection. The requisitions are then automatically registered asorders into the company's existing SAP system. If the purchase amount exceeds the setlimit, a controller will decide whether to approve or reject therequest. On approval, a purchase order is automatically created inthe SAP system and sent to the supplier. During this process,multiple orders sent to a certain supplier are merged, reducingtransaction costs such as freight charges."Since requisitions are registered electronically, we are able tokeep track of all purchases in the organization," says Mueller. "Oneof the biggest advantages of using PROCESS DIRECTOR is the improvedoptimization of our invoice processing, as the number of invoiceswith purchase orders increases. Even trivial purchases like taxitrips are entered into the SAP system.
