We Did It: Casa della Speranza Earns NCARR Level 2 Certification
April 2026
We're proud to announce that Casa della Speranza - NC House of Hope has officially earned NCARR Level 2 certification — a milestone that represents everything we believe recovery housing should be.

What This Certification Means
This certification isn't just a piece of paper. It's a promise.
A promise that our homes meet the highest standards for safety, structure, and support. A promise that every resident has access to accountability, peer community, and the foundation they need to rebuild their lives.
NCARR Level 2 certification is awarded by the North Carolina Alliance of Recovery Residences and requires compliance with national best practices — including structured programming, regular drug and alcohol screening, peer support integration, and coordination with external recovery support services.

Why This Matters to Me
I started Casa della Speranza because I've seen both sides of recovery housing — the good and the heartbreaking.
I've watched someone I love navigate homes that were truly supportive, and others that fell short. That experience taught me how critical real structure is. It showed me that recovery housing isn't just about a bed — it's about creating an environment where sobriety can take root and grow.
"This certification represents everything I believe recovery housing should be," I shared in our press release. "I've watched someone very close to me navigate different sober living environments — some were okay, some were harmful. That experience showed me how critical it is to have real structure, real accountability, and real support. NCARR Level 2 certification isn't just a credential — it's a promise that we're providing the foundation people need to rebuild their lives."

What This Means for Our Residents and Their Families
NCARR Level 2 certification means families can trust us. It means referral partners know we're meeting verified standards. And most importantly, it means our residents are walking into a home that's equipped to support their journey — one day at a time.

"NCARR Level 2 certification means our residents — and the families who love them — can trust that we're meeting the highest standards for safety, structure, and support," I explained. "I started Casa della Speranza because I've lived the other side of this. I know what families go through."
Recovery is hard enough. The last thing anyone needs is to question whether their housing is safe, structured, or supportive. This certification removes that doubt.

What's Next
Our Fayetteville home is open and certified. Our Charlotte location opens in May 2026. SC House of Hope is launching within the next 90 days. And we're planning women's recovery housing for the future.
We're not just offering a bed. We're offering a foundation — a place where someone can wake up each day and choose recovery, surrounded by people who believe in them.
Thank you to everyone who believed in this mission. We're just getting started.
