Commencement of Drilling - Onshore Rovuma Block, Mozambique
(Thomson Reuters ONE) - Artumas Group Inc. is pleased to announce the commencement ofdrilling in the Onshore Rovuma Block in Mozambique. The Block isoperated by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. The Mecupa-1 well isthe first well in the Mozambique Rovuma Basin since 1986. Mecupa-1well, commenced drilling on October 11th 2009. Further details anddrilling results will not be released until the drilling andsubsequent technical evaluations have been completed.Artumas will also participate in drilling of the first offshoreMozambique well within the Area 1 Offshore Mozambique Block. A deepwater drill ship is expected to arrive in Mozambique in late November2009.
