Integration of Home of Hardware GmbH into getgoods.de AG almost finalised
Shipping volume increased to 10,000 parcels per day
Dusseldorf, October 7, 2011 - getgoods.de AG, operator of online platforms
for IT and telecommunication products in the fast growing e-commerce
market, has widely completed the integration of Home of Hardware GmbH which
was acquired in July. The company has already successfully generated major
synergies in the areas of purchasing, logistics and service while adding
the important sector of IT hardware products to its portfolio.
CEO and member of the board of getgoods.de AG, Markus Rockstädt-Mies looks
back on this positive development: 'In our fast growing online business,
strategic decisions need to be taken and realized at the same rapid pace.
The integration of HOH into the existing online-shop-portfolio has almost
been completed within three months. We are confident that we can show first
benefits from the synergies already in our current quarterly results.'
Markus Rockstädt-Mies is also satisfied with the ongoing market growth:
'Every day of this week, new revenue records were achieved. We are now
shipping almost 10,000 parcels per day. This is not just due to the
enlarged product portfolio but also confirms the dynamic market shift from
stationary trade towards online shopping.'
