ABUS brings you the new app for the Secvest IP wireless alarm system
now with optional live image access
(PresseBox) - ABUS Security-Center introduces the new Secvest IP app 1.5. The new version is a universal app for iPhone and iPad and has many excellent improvements: Access to live images and audio signals, simplified central and camera settings and management of upto three Secvest IP alarm centres. Users of the old Secvest IP app get a free upgrade to version 1.5. The new iPhone/iPad app is available from the Apple AppStore for ?19.99 and supports English, German, French, Dutch and Danish.
The main functions of the app include activating and deactivating the Secvest IP wireless alarm system and a worldwide status check. If you're not sure whether the system was activated when leaving the house, you can now find out with a quick glance at your mobile Apple device. With the app you can manage upto three Secvest IP alarm centres. It is also possible to hide individual zones from the surveillance area. Another improvement is the event memory which is now unlimited and can be sorted. An optional password protects the app and Secvest IP from unauthorised access.
Optional access to live images via In-App-Purchase
Another highlight of the new Secvest IP app 1.5 is the ability to access live audio and video data in the PIR network cameras integrated in the alarm systemvia In-App-Purchase. This new function can be activated directly from the app when required at a one-time cost of ?2.99.
Control of wireless sockets
The app also enables controlling wireless sockets integrated in the alarm system. Any plugged-in consumers (e.g. lamps) can then be controlled using the app. The relay output can also be switched using the app.
Secvest IP Lite app
The Secvest IP Lite app is now available free-of-charge for test purposes and any users who are still undecided. However this version does not allow saving connection settings or accessing live images. The Secvest IP Lite app is available now in the Apple App Store for the ABUS Secvest IP wireless alarm centre FUAA10010.
