Qualys Introduces a Free Audit Service to Help Companies Secure Their Web Sites From Malware and Vulnerabilities

Available at , the free service is called FreeScan, and Qualys will showcase it at the RSA Conference Europe 2011 in booth P1 on October 11-13.
Built on Qualys' that hosts the QualysGuard® IT security and compliance suite of applications, Qualys FreeScan performs a comprehensive scan on companies' web sites or publicly facing IP addresses and automatically looks for:
Network perimeter vulnerabilities
Web application vulnerabilities
Web site malware infections
Validation of SSL certificates
Web site owners can then review , which include comprehensive remediation instructions in order to fix identified vulnerabilities and remove malware infections.
