The Art of Strength: OtterBox Raises Awareness, Funding With New Cases for iPhone

(firmenpresse) - FORT COLLINS, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/11/11 -- In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, protective case manufacturer ® introduces two graphic cases to the Commuter Series® Strength(SM) collection. The "Soar" and "Victory" options are now available for the Apple® iPhone® 4 and iPhone 4S.

"Breast cancer affects almost everyone, in one way or another," said , OtterBox founder and CEO. "With these new cases, we gave all of our employees a chance to contribute to the expansion of the Strength line of cases by sharing their personal stories."

The new Commuter Series cases feature a strength-inspired design, as well as a quote printed on the interior of the case about strength and what it means. Quotes were submitted by OtterBox employees and two were chosen by an internal vote to be included on the cases.

These graphic cases join the original pink-and-white cases available for the Apple iPhone 4/4S, HTC EVO 3D and the BlackBerry® Torch™ II. Ten percent of the purchase price from each OtterBox Commuter Series Strength case is donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.

OtterBox has partnered with the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade since 2008 in its efforts to support finding a cure for breast cancer and advancing access to care for all. From May 2010 through May 2011, OtterBox donated $179,072 through the sale of its Commuter Series Strength cases and hopes to top that with this year's commitment to providing strength to endure, support and triumph.
