Award for Venjakob Maschinenbau iF Product Design Award 2011 for the finishing line VEN SPRAY PERFECT

In January 2011, our company was placed first in the "industry + skilled trades" category of the iF Product Design Awards with the spray-coating line VEN SPRAY PERFECT. As a trend barometer for outstanding design achievements, the prize sets the trend for future developments.
Managing director Christian Nüßer: "Fantastic success for Venjakob. This proves that mechanical engineering and good design are not mutually exclusive; on the contrary, it can be complementary."
The iF Product Design Award 2011 involved 1,121 participants from 43 countries and a total of 2,756 entries were evaluated by an international jury. 993 products were awarded, 50 of them with the special Gold prize.
The iF Product Design Award is a multifaceted competition for all areas of product design. It offers design-related innovations a platform to establish themselves and thus contributes to the global nature and dynamics of the contemporary. The award has been the hallmark of good design since 1953. The criteria of the jury included design quality, workmanship, choice of material, degree of innovation, environmental compatibility, functionality, ergonomics, visualisation of use, safety, brand equity/branding and aspects of universal design.
