(Thomson Reuters ONE) - - Operating profit increased by 43% in 3rd quarter 2009Telio continues to deliver strong results, thereby confirming theirposition as a leading European provider of access independentbroadband telephone services. Revenues in the third quarter ended atNOK 96.3 million, compared to NOK 93 million in the same period lastyear. Operating profit was NOK 20.2 million, up from NOK 14.2 millionin the year-ago quarter.- We have continued to deliver record results for the last 10quarters, and we are naturally very satisfied with revenue growth and43% growth in operating profit compared to 3rd quarter 2008, saysEirik Lunde, CEO of Telio Holding ASA.Growth in international marketsTelio also continues to grow in the markets outside Norway. Denmarkshows steady growth and reports a 29 % increase in the customer basecompared to the same period last year. In the Dutch market, Telio hasachieved a 49 % year-to-year growth in the customer base throughexisting wholesale agreements. In October, the Netherlands hasgenerated a customer intake of 2,000 customers compared to 1,200customers in the 3rd quarter.
