AUTEV AG - AUTEV AG successfully continues its market penetration
Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, October 13, 2011 - The AUTEV AG reports
a prosperous start for the new business year 2011/12. The LED branch AuLED
was especially successful in acquiring new projects, clients, and partners
in the first quarter of the 2011/12 business year (July 1, 2011 - September
30, 2011). The AUTEV AG management is especially pleased with the amount of
orders received from large international companies.
Amongst others, the Coop Group (the Coop eG runs 180 supermarkets in
Germany, as well as 11 hypermarkets, and 10 building supplies stores and
garden centers with a total yearly turnover of 1.35 billion Euros) has
completely refitted its first store in Schwentinental with AuLED lighting.
Further supermarkets are expected to be refitted with AuLED products in the
near future.
The AUTEV AG also received a contract from the BASF AG. The first warehouse
at the Ludwigshafen factory will be completely refitted with AuLED lighting
systems, which will result in an energy savings of up to 85 % in comparison
with the old fixtures. The Techem Energy Contracting GmbH was also taken
on as a new cooperation partner in the first quarter of the new business
year through a joint project that the companies have teamed up on.
Further success was evident also in the area of sales and marketing. As a
result, a large list of new marketing partners were brought on board; and
following up on our successful cooperation with Cegelec in southern
Germany we will shortly be providing their branches in the Rhine area and
in Cologne with product training in order to expand our marketing
facilities and further enhance market penetration.
Board member and LED managing director, Tim David was extremely pleased
with the first quarter results: 'We are right on target with our business
plan. The total AuLed concept continues to find an ever increasing market
acceptance due to improvements in our sales and marketing and the extremely
important consultative and advisory components of our service, as well as
the uniqueness and distinct advantages of our lighting systems which have
become more evident to our clientel. The trust that our clients have placed
in us, shows us that the entire concept fulfills the clients' needs and
that we are indeed on the right track.'
